Year 7s use the RSA's Opening Minds curriculum; staff use a competences-based approach in other years; there are vertical learning groups in some areas; the school works to ensure that teachers are not isolated, bringing them together regularly to reflect on the impact of their innovations. From a Year 7 lesson dedicated to listening skills, to a Year 9 science lesson that aims to develop effective thinking skills, we see what the approach looks like in action. |
